Check this new year's resolution list from a journal that belonged to Woody Guthrie.  I like number 26 - Dance Better.  Woody Guthrie is always such a breath of fresh air to me. He seems to have lived so simply, so beautifully. Everything I've ever read by him is always in plain and coarse words. This isn't to say he didn't lead a thoughtful, contemplative life.  But it was done in a way that is so pure, honest, and funny.  Definitely someone I look up to. This reminds me, I totally recommend his book Bound for Glory. It's a beautifully told string of stories, some funny and some sad.
